We're a family-owned Cabin & RV Campground located across the street from Lake Almanor. Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our home away from home.

We believe in outdoor BBQ’s, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and return to your senses.

We hope Camp Almanor becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. From craggy peaks and high mountain lakes to wild and winding rivers, we’re surrounded on all sides by the Lost Sierra. Avoid the crowds and explore Lassen Volcanic National Park, just a short drive away, it is home to steaming fumaroles, meadows freckled with wildflowers, clear mountain lakes, and numerous volcanoes.

We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. Excellent hiking & running trails, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from Camp Almanor. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy the tall pine trees and eat s’mores. The more adventurous may prefer kayaking, boating, fishing, bird watching, and stand up paddle boards. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in a remote wilderness settings.
